Showcase is the QPA’s major event of the year - an hour long show which keeps key stakeholders up to date with the industry’s progress on major issues. The recurring theme that has dominated the event since its inception in 2001 has been sustainable development.

Showcase is staged at a top London hotel and has been presented by a string of top news presenters - George Alagiah, Peter Sissons, John Craven and Fiona Bruce, who again hosted the event in 2007. The format is made up of both live and pre-recorded features that cover best practice and case studies from across the industry.

Showcase 07 celebrated ten successful years of the Quarry Products Association and took place on 17 May 2007. While looking back over some of the landmarks in our first decade, it also concentrated on the future and on the significant challenges that lie ahead.

Record numbers attended the event this year in an event that prompted the launch of the carbon zone and saw Aggregate Industries take home the coveted Cooper-Heyman Cup in the Restoration Awards.
